Meet the Kempenfelt Rotary Club

The Kempenfelt Rotary Club was chartered in 1999 with approximately 40 members and has been an active and vital part of our community since. It is the newest of the three clubs in Barrie.

Rotarians Hard At Work

We are proud to say we have been very active in providing service and funding to both our local and international communities. Our annual projects include Kids’ Fishing Day, Colt for a Day, The Kempenfelt Derby and Tee It Up for Rotary Golf Tournament.

Our fundraising activities have supported numerous local organizations including the Royal Victoria Hospital, Georgian College, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Women & Children’s Shelter of Barrie, Hospice Simcoe, and Simcoe County Association for People with Special Needs.

At the international level, we have funded a school in Cambodia, water treatment in the Dominican Republic, and sports equipment for an orphanage in Africa, to name a few.
